I've always wanted to go to South Dakota. Not for residential purposes, largely for park wandering purposes. I guess its a place Anthony Bourdain won't be going to anytime soon.
The Black Hills are actually quite lovely, and Mt Rushmore is worth a trip. I think of Devil's Tower as in SD, but it's actually just over the border in Wyoming. SD does, however, have the Corn Palace, which is right up there with Chartres in the pantheon of architectural wonders.
I am a professor of economics at Santa Clara University. I like to write; hence this blog. Views expressed are mine and mine alone. Thanks for visiting. (Photo above: Diplacus aurantiacus, one of our lovely California native monkeyflowers.)
