Pegu Club

More a wine and beer man myself, but this cocktail is just about as good as it gets... Kind of like getting the best of a martini and a margarita all in one...

My version (for 2) was:
5 oz No. 209 gin
3 oz. Cointreau
2 oz. lime juice
a few dashes angostura bitters

Shaken with ice until very cold. Yum.

  1. I try this with Bombay Sapphire gin, Triple Sec, and lemon bitters and report back. I guess I'll have to give it a new name at that point.
