I suppose this is the best political pop song ever recorded. Can you think of a better one?

    I never understood the lyrics to the Clearwater song .... good to know it's political.

    As another worthy candidate let me put forward the song that starts "War, ugh, what is good for ... absolutely nuthin ... ugh."

    What's that Country Joe song? Liked that one.

    And more relevant to current issues there are at least two great Michael Franti songs that might be considered.
